This video handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of 3 taming rods, every one is different and will allow you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually Get More Information an Armored Scorpid.

Once you've accomplished the taming Element of the Quest chain, you must head to Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot from the Valley of Honor to be able to unlock your companion pet managing abilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Last but not least, remember to visit the Pet Trainer and grab the Pet skills that you must give to your pet.
